Will I be affected?

How far will the pollution spread?

The traffic jams will have the widest impact. During constuction there will be jams back to Imperial Wharf , the whole of Peterborough Road back to Kings Road and Broomhouse Lane back to new Kings Road. Longer jams will also form on Wandsworth Bridge.

Air pollution is the silent killer. This will spread far further to 500m and be mostly diesel particulates and sewer gases. Estimates suggest that some local schoolchildren we be passive smoking several cigarettes a day every day for 7 years from the works.

Noise pollution will disturb within a 300m radius, This is up to 1000 homes. If you are on the south bank of the Thames you will also hear the works.

Thames Water confirm constant dust up to 100 metres. The St Thomas School Playground will be impacted by construction dust. It could be much worse, as the contaminated ground under hurlingham Wharf is cleared, this dust my be toxic.

Most horrific is vibration. Up to 65m from the drilling there will be 24hr ground vibration. We know of at least 250 living in the vibration zone.
